Tasha Chemplavil, M.S., CCC-SLP is a pediatric speech-language pathologist in the Las Vegas Valley who has worked in schools, homes, and clinics. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from Rice University and her M.S. in Communication Disorders from Arizona State University. She is a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice in Nevada.

 

Tasha was born and raised in Las Vegas and graduated from St. Viator School and Bishop Gorman High School. She returned to her hometown in 2013, and has worked for Let's Talk, A Clubhouse for Kids, and Physiotherapy Associates' Children's Therapy Center. She began her career working for Lauren's Institute for Education in Gilbert, AZ, and spent a summer working with underserved patients in Yuma, AZ.

Tasha has experience working with a variety of ages and ability levels. She loves teaching parents how to encourage communication and manage behaviors in their children. She has a particular fondness for alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) devices, and creating speech materials for parents to use at home. She takes pride in crafting therapy sessions to every child's individual interests and skill levels.

 

Every child is unique and therapy should be unique, too.
